KadeRock is a pop festival held every June at Muziekcafé Musicon on Soestdijksekade in The Hague. This year's festival will take place on 6 and 7 June. KadeRock is known as small-scale but big. The festival is by now a household name in The Hague and its surroundings, but also attracts more and more audiences from the rest of the Netherlands. Kaderock promises to be another great addition to the Whitsun weekend!
Programme 2025
Not only rock music, but also pop, blues, rap and electronic music and from national to local and regional acts are on the programme.
The programme for Kaderock is almost complete and promises to be a great party with music for all tastes. As you have come to expect from this popular festival, the Friday night will be dedicated to iconic pop and rock classics from The Hague. Artists such as Cesar Zuiderwijk, The Clarks and Gruppo Sportivo will play the legendary hits that made The Hague famous worldwide.
On Saturday, the party continues with a spectacle of musical genres, from Ozric Tentacles' electronic space-rock to Elmer's heavy hip-hop and bass beats. VALS ALARM's energetic punk and Jaïr Faria's indie soul will not leave visitors standing still either.
And that's just the beginning! Expect a varied programme with both big names and promising emerging artists from all kinds of musical styles. The full programme will be announced in April, but it already promises to be a weekend not to be missed.

New stage
2025 will add a new stage: the Greenhouse, in collaboration with renowned artists' incubators and pop musicians from The Hague. Experimenting with sound art, visual art and technology, they will merge the music of the 20th and 21st centuries live. The audience will also get the chance to play along with them.
Furthermore, at the large outdoor stage, you can enjoy nationally known bands and artists with a drink in your hand in the sun. The intimate indoor stage will feature local and regional bands and artists where the temperature will also be high! On the grounds, there is a small festival market, food stalls, bars and a children's corner with bouncy castle for the youngest festival-goers.
Musicon
Musicon is a music centre located on Soestdijksekade in The Hague. For years, Musicon has been a meeting place for musicians and music lovers. The hall with its stage and bar regularly hosts musical activities such as courses, jam sessions, dance evenings, workshops and, of course, performances by a variety of bands. Music genres range from rap to metal and from acoustic to digital.
Accessibility
Musicon is easy to reach by tram 4, tram 6 and bus 26 (stop Monnickendamplein). Due to limited (and paid) parking, it is advised not to come by car.
